About STL Sewer Guide

STL Sewer Guide explains how sewer lateral repair works in St. Louis County, and helps homeowners with a failing line get introduced to a sewer contractor.

How the site works

The guides are written from city documents, ordinances, and local news coverage, linked at the bottom of each page. If you send a request through the form, we review it and, where we can, introduce you to a contractor who works in St. Louis County.

How we make money

Contractors may pay us for referrals. You pay nothing for the introduction. We are not a contractor, we do not perform repairs, and we do not set or guarantee anyone's price.

What we do not do

• We do not license, bond, insure, or guarantee any contractor. Verify a St. Louis County license and get written bids.
• We do not give legal, insurance, or plumbing advice.
• We do not promise that a contractor will be available for your request.

Corrections

City programs change. If you spot something out of date, email hello@stlsewerguide.com and we will review it.
