This policy explains what stlsewerguide.com (“we”) collects and how we use it.
What we collect
When you send a request, we collect what you enter: your name, mobile phone number, email (optional), the city and ZIP of the property, what is happening, your timeline, any details you add, and the page you submitted from. We also record that you agreed to be contacted.
We do not run advertising trackers, and this site does not set cookies of its own. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested.
How we use it
- To review your request and contact you about it
- To introduce you to St. Louis County plumbing and sewer contractors, and to share your request with them so they can contact you
- To improve the site, such as seeing which pages lead to requests
Contractors we refer you to may pay us for referrals. We do not sell your information to advertisers or data brokers.
Calls and texts
If you check the consent box, we and the contractors we refer you to may call or text you about your request, including with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of buying anything. Reply STOP to a text to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for as long as needed to follow up and to keep records of consent, and then delete them. A contractor that receives your request keeps it under its own policies.
Your choices
Email hello@stlsewerguide.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will also tell contractors we referred you to that you asked to stop being contacted.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do.
